B.R.A.C. helps bring all types of businesses together with the police, local community safety partnerships and the local authority to support each other in reducing business crime and anti social behaviour in Barnsley. This helps create an awareness of potential targets by warning members of prolific local offenders.
B.R.A.C. is made up of regular intelligence meetings, the SentrySIS online crime reporting and monitoring system and a digital radio network across Barnsley. All three parts allow B.R.A.C. members to monitor, identify and highlight offenders and their offending in the area.
The organisation helps members prevent crime, fraud and anti-social behaviour resulting in Barnsley being made a safe and happier place to live and work.
Members are connected through the radio network and SentrySIS helping all stakeholders achieve the same goals.
